HAMBELA
In the highlands of Guji, at elevations ranging from 1,980 to 2,100 meters above sea level, Hambela coffee cherries thrive in nutrient-rich soil and a climate that offers ideal conditions for the growth of the rare heirloom variety. The ripe cherries are carefully handpicked, then left to dry naturally under the sun using the traditional natural (dry) processing method. During this stage, the cherries are spread out on raised beds and turned regularly to ensure even drying. This process allows the full sweetness and natural flavors of the fruit to infuse into the beans, giving the coffee a rich, fruity character with complex layers of flavor.
